Bolat on Anadolu News Agency

The company, founded in Tarsus by the family elder Halit Beybolat under the name "BEYBOLAT" to produce hardware and agricultural machinery, continued its branding process as "BOLAT" with the factory built on a 15 thousand square meter area in the Huzurkent Neighborhood of the Akdeniz district in the following years.

The company, which employs 180 people, increased its production capacity from year to year in order to meet the non-tractor machinery needs of the agricultural sector.

The company, which strengthens its brand with regional dealerships and country distributorships, was announced to be among the 100 fastest growing companies in Türkiye, determined by taking into account the companies' 2-year turnover increase under the leadership of TOBB, in cooperation with the Turkish Economic Policy Research Foundation and TOBB University of Economics and Technology.

"Machines that we can call the hands and feet of farmers in rural areas are among our areas of activity"

The company's general manager, Serkan Beybolat, told AA reporters that they took serious steps for branding and production at the beginning of the 2000s.

Explaining that the sector met the name "BOLAT" in 2014, Beybolat spoke as follows:

"Our fields of activity mainly include machines with self-propelled engines that we call 'non-tractor and equipment', which we can call 'the hands and feet of farmers living in rural areas'. We produce tillers, chainsaws, motorized scythes, spraying machines and irrigation engines. Not many companies in Türkiye preferred to enter the diesel engine business outside of the transmission while producing tillers, but we accelerated in this direction as of 2016. We put it into service as a complementary part of the engine."

"We attach great importance to farmer suggestions"

Beybolat stated that they are proud to be included in the "100 Fastest Growing Companies in Türkiye" list to be announced this year and said, "The most important factor behind our success is our R&D and P&D studies. We process and analyze all the data coming from after-sales dealers, services or end consumers and put them back into the field for product development. We attach great importance to farmer suggestions."

Emphasizing that they attach importance to equal opportunities, Beybolat said, "We provide serious opportunities for women in the production of tillers. Our female employee ratio is currently around 35 percent. We have also received the reward of this investment. We have realized that women really work more regularly. We plan to increase this number in the coming years. We have a 12-person R&D team. We have to consider the end consumer, dealer and service when designing the product. If we neglect one of these three, this success rate cannot be achieved."
